Anyone had bad feelings about being in a business opportunity? Anyone had bad feelings about being an entrepreneur?

That’s why people go, “I’d rather go back and get a freaking job!” Why? Because I’m good at doing that. If I just work 8 to 5, I would feel better. I can shut it off on weekends. I punch my time card. I can just feel appreciated, because I can do a good job within that. This stuff is just not for me. I’ll just live a life of mediocrity, in prison, and there it is.

Then why did you get involved in the business opportunity to begin with? Can you remember the very first business opportunity you saw? How did you feel? I want you to think … no feel what you felt when you were sitting in that audience or watching that video. And you’re going, “wait a minute, wait a minute. This could be my Escape Plan! Oh my God, if that person can do it, so can I!”

And you start doing what? You start dreaming again! Oh my God! What would it be like to make $6,000 a month? What would it feel like to make $10,000 a month? What would I do with that money? If you got more money and paid down your debt. Became debt-free and got a reliable car. Did a little bit of traveling. Got a home that you love. And if the money kept coming in, a lot of you would start giving it away. How is that going to make you feel?

If you know my story, I used to be a mechanic. You know what they pay on Workman’s Comp? $900 per month. Wow! My mentor asked, “How much do you need to change things by the end of the month?” I said $3,800. How did I know that exact number? Because it was on my thoughts ― all day, every day! It gave me anxiety, and made me want to throw up. I had a knot in my stomach.

Have you ever been in a place where you’ve been under stress, because of financial stuff, and you’re trying to figure out how to make it happen? Some of you do it every month. You’re like masters at it. “Here I go trying to figure out how to cover bills again”. That’s not prison, right?

He said to me, “I can show you how to make $3,800 by the end of the month, but you first have to believe that you’d want to do what I’m doing. It was nice meeting you.” He shook my hand and walked away.

I got my crutches, chased him down the hall into his office, and said show me. When I said that, he made me understand that I had a way out. He was showing me an “Escape Plan”. He wasn’t telling me to recruit people or what I needed to say. No. He said, “Robert, tell me, if I showed you how to make $3,800, so you could get out from under these obligations, stay in your apartment, pay the back payments on your car, how would that make you feel?” Even saying it now, makes me want to cry. I knew this would be hard. I said that would give me hope that I’m getting out of the situation that I’m in. He goes great!

He never talked to me about hitting 5K, 10K, 250k. He didn’t tell me about Super Affiliate. He didn’t tell me anything. He said, what would it feel like to get this one experience handled? I needed a little win in my life. I’d had a lot of losses for quite a while in my life.
