You may not like what I’m going to say, but some of you are too freakin’ smart to be wealthy. You know way too much. I’m too simple.
How many of you remember the guy who started MySpace? He was your first friend … Tom!! Tom started MySpace. And when Tom became my friend, what do you think I did next? I went and looked at my new friend’s profile. What a concept!!
Does anyone want to guess what Tom had more than I? Millions of friends. I went back to my profile and I had one friend, Tom. Then I got it! My goal is to connect with other people. See how many other people I could get and how fast I can get them.
Does anyone want to guess what my goal was when I got involved with Facebook? 5,000 Friends.
And you are saying “I’d like to learn how to connect with people too”, but you only have 150, 200, or 300 friends on Facebook. My question is “How many of them do YOU know”? 6 of them?
So the first thing I’m going to teach you, and it’s going to sound very simple. Don’t you think you have to be excellent at adding new friends to your Facebook profile every single day?
Did you hear me? I didn’t say get them to become customers; I didn’t say make sure they pre-enroll with you; I didn’t say make sure to add them to the Escape Masters group; I didn’t say upgrade them.
Some of you are missing the #1 key component to being wealthy in the world. That’s having a large group of people knowing who the hell you are.
