One of the things I’ve always noticed is we grow up in a culture, environment or tribe and you think a certain way. Your beliefs are a certain way.
It’s really amazing that we constantly put ourselves in the position where it’s either “this” or “the other”. You either do “this” or you do “that”. And there’s also this division we are seeing a lot of out there right now. For example: Republican or Democrat; or Black Lives Matter or The Police.
When you start thinking about it, you either have a job with security or you’re a risk taker - an entrepreneur. I have a question for you. When I was watching a webinar by T. Harv Eker and he asked: “Who said you can’t have both?”
Where did the belief come from? It’s like I say, “How Do You Know That?” and “How Is That Working For You?”.
So when I’m out there talking to people and they say “money doesn’t buy happiness” or they’ll turnaround and say “What’s more important, family or money? Well, of course, money!”
As soon as you say that ― think about it ― you’re now making a decision … do you want to be Rich or Poor? Because Rich People are not only bad, bad people, but they’re also greedy. They don’t take care of others and they don’t give to charity. So now, you’ve got this in your mind where you have to pick one or the other.
Why can’t you have time with family and make money? Why can’t you have a job and make a lot of money? Why can’t you have a job and be an entrepreneur?
Why can’t you have both???
